Rajon Rondo Celtics

Rondo should respond from an off game four.

The 2010 NBA Playoffs have proven to be nothing but exciting as we get closer to the final two teams battling it out for some five-on-five action.

Most fantasy basketball leagues are long gone by now, but for salary cap and playoff fantasy basketball, here are some helpful tips and updates:

Dwight Howard, C, Orlando Magic

Dwight Howard had an amazing game last night to keep the series alive and force a game five out of the Celtics. He finished Monday’s victory with 32 points on 13-of-19 shooting, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks. If he plays Wednesday’s game the same way, he will certainly prove to be a good choice for fantasy players.

Rajon Rondo, G, Boston Celtics

For anyone who was worried about selecting Rajon Rondo for Wednesday’s game due to muscle spasms Rondo was suffering before halftime on Monday, you have no need to worry.

It was reported that Rondo is doing okay despite these muscle spasms and was able to stretch out whatever was bothering him. With the way Rondo’s been playing during the playoffs, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t keep him consider him in your fantasy lineup.

Andrew Bynum, C, Los Angeles Lakers

Great news for all Lakers fans, as well as Fantasy sports players. It looks like Andrew Bynum will be playing in game 4 despite his painful knee injury. It is reported that he may need surgery after the season is over, but he will attempt to finish strong as the Lakers take on the Phoenix Suns.

Steve Nash, G, Phoenix Suns

If you have watched the Suns in the playoffs, you have gotten the chance to see how much of a tough cookie Steve Nash is. With a black eye, and now a fractured nose, which Steve Nash put back into place himself on the court the other night, there is no stopping this 6’3 guard.

Nash’s displaced nasal fracture will not keep him out of any games or practices for that matter, showing that he is one of the toughest players in the NBA. Steve Nash has proven to be a great player throughout the playoffs, and would be a great asset to any fantasy team.

Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles Lakers

Although the Lakers lost game 3 on Sunday night, that didn’t stop Kobe Bryant from falling just short of a triple-double, finishing with 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists on 13-of-24 shooting. If he continues playing the way he did Sunday night, the Lakers could wrap up Game 4 by beating Phoenix. He is truly someone you will want to have on your fantasy team.
